I recently loaded quicken classic on a new pc - restored using my latest save from the PC I've replaced. Was successful connecting Truist but not M&T ———would time out and indicate no internet connection.
After calls with both M&T (not very helpful but they're bankers not IT professionals) and quicken support. Still I was unable to sync/connect with M&T.
Today I noticed my Outlook emails were showing 3 hours earlier than Eastern Time. Saw it was set to Pacific which I changed to eastern. Rebooted and check bios time/day (was correct) and brought up Outlook …………now all the times were eastern. My bios was now correct, the system tray was correct (as I had been) and now Outlook was correct. On a hunch I tried M&T again and voila Quicken connected and now all is well.
May be well known to many of you but I didn't time disparities could interfere/disable a financial institution connection.
Posting this in case others run into similar situations.
