Rogue reconciling to online balance

One of my accounts (Chase Freedom) suddenly started reconciling to online balance, even though the "Reconcile using online balance" box (in Account Details/Online Services) is unchecked.

This started about a month ago. I'm using Quicken Deluxe Classic for Windows, R66.28. I have already tried Deactivating/Reactivating the account.

    You can turn this off via TOOLS, Account List, click EDIT next to the account, click ONLINE SERVICES and Uncheck the box in the lower right corner.

    Box is already unchecked but it's still reconciling to online balance.

    That's why I used the word "rogue" in the discussion header ;-)

    What exactly is happening when this occurs? What are you doing at the time?

    And, if you're intentionally reconciling the account, please show us the Reconcile dialog, as a JPG or GIF, with the amounts covered-up.

    I use One Step Update to download all transactions in all accounts. Then I go through my accounts one by one (I don't have that many), choosing Accept All.

    All of my other accounts behave as expected (and as the Chase Freedom account has behaved for at least a decade). But within a second or two, all of the downloaded Chase Freedom transactions convert to R.

    I am not intentionally reconciling the account. In fact I can't (which is the problem that brought me here), because all of the transactions are already reconciled.
