Can't change Apple Card account to Credit
After adding Apple Card to Quicken, it shows up as a Checking account under Banking. Why can't I change the account type? Is the only way, to delete the account and set it up again?

@fschmid Yes, that is the best way. I realize this is not the answer you want to hear but it is the easiest approach in this case. If you have many transactions in there already, you can use the "move transaction" feature to move them from the old to the new account.
If you go to the Account Details > Display Options tab > Account intent, you can change only to the available drop down options. Perhaps there is a technical challenge in Quicken's database scheme to make that switch, which is why Quicken does not allow it.
IMHO Quicken should not have 'sub-grouped' credit cards under the 'banking' umbrella to begin with because CC is a liability and therefore kept it separate - but that is an old discussion.

In what way is it showing as a checking account?
Is there not a faint line between the checking accounts and the card accounts?
Are the amount figures not black for the checking accounts and red (or black if $0) for the card accounts.?
And, @BK a credit card IS a banking account. Only a bank can issue a credit card. That's why the faint line is there, to separate the asset accounts from the liability accounts.
