Record loan payment

I created a loan acct. It is interest-only, so I can make principal payments at any time. However, from my checking acct, I cannot select the loan as a category. Indeed, checking the Display settings for the loan, "Hide in transaction entry lists" is checked AND disabled, so I cannot change it.

Why can't loans be selected as a transfer category, explicitly and why can't I change that status?

    Ah! I figured it out… if the account is activated with an online bank, the "Hide in transaction entry lists" is automatically set and not changable.

    Once I deactivated the account's online status, I could uncheck the setting.
