Let users create a file copy with requested date ranges

Current functionality:
When I go to copy a file and Quicken asks the date ranges for the transactions we want, Quicken STILL copies the ENTIRE data file. For example. My data file starts back in 2011. I went to copy a file and put in the range of transactions I wanted: 1/1/2023 to present. But the copy has ALL transactions back from 2011 and I guess it only deleted information that would have been used for reports or graphs/charts.
Wanted functionality:
Let users trim down huge data files by letting us choose a range of transactions and cutting that file down to only the transactions we requested, with the same choices to copy attachments, uncleared items, etc.
