I'm entering a Sold transaction and the cash from the sale is not showing up?
Every other Sold transaction in this account works correctly and the cash will be in the account. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Turn on the ability to see Placeholders in the Transaction List if you haven't already and go look to see if you have a Placeholder for this security dated after the sale. This can cause what you're describing.

No placeholder transactions in the account. I corrected the cash balance by just doing a "Update Cash Balance" for the sold amount but I shouldn't need to do that. The account does not show the correct holding and cash balance.

So with the entry of the sale what do you see in the "Cash Amt" column? Nothing, or "N/A"? The latter typically does happen with - apparently - a future Placeholder in the Transaction List.
