Bank download issue

I have an issue with my bank account. The last transactions downloaded are mid Dec 2025. I download activity with my bank account directly from my account on the bank website by downloading a date range into a quicken file. Then select the downloaded file which adds the new transactions.

I have several months of missing transactions. How do I fix it?

Do I need to download the missing date range again?

Quite a bit more info needed in order to help you.

Which Q product are you running, and what RELEASE of that product? Also, what is your 'Subscription Valid thru …" date? This info is at HELP, About Quicken.

What type of account, as it's known in both Q and at the bank? Which bank, as known in Q? What's your "Transaction Download" and "Last Download" info? This info is at TOOLS, Account List.

And why did you switch to what's known as "Web Connect"? Did your bank stop offering Express Web Connect (+) or Direct Connect?

Running Quicken Classis. Subscription good thru Jan 2027.

    Account is bank account.

My bank started charging $8.00 each time I did a download thru Quicken. Doing it directly from bank web no charge.

I had an issue with both my citi and discover credit cards where I could not establish connection to do download. I had to deactivate accounts and then add them back using the original accounts and linked to them.

@chazkov Concerning the citi and discover credit card issue: It seems that connections can get “stuck” and one step update will stop working for some accounts, there is no error message, and you only notice it when you compare your transactions in Quicken to those on FI’s website and notice that recent transactions aren’t in Quicken. The usual fix is to either do an account reset or deactivate/reactivate. The point is I don’t think that problem is related to whats going on with file downloads.

What bank is it that charges $8.00 per download through Quicken?!?! I’d change banks.

To really analyze what’s going on with the downloads from the bank’s website l’d want to look at those downloads because I have some familiarity with content of QFX files. But, for obvious security reasons, you wouldn’t want me to look at them. If you looked at them in a text editor like Notepad and have any familiarity with XML you might be able to make enough sense of it that you could see something amiss that you could sanitize for discussion here.

One question that does come to mind is: When you imported the files did you notice gaps in the transactions in the download register where they go before you’ve accept them? E.g. when you downloaded, say, Jan through Feb 2026, did you get all of those two months?

@chazkov Please go back and re-read my questions of 4/22. You responded do some … but not all.

And I agree totally with the suggestion to change banks because of that $8. Nothing but robbery by your bank.
