The home Dashboard has grown increasingly more useful with the ability to duplicate and hide cards. But one thing we can't do is manually re-size a card. Cards automatically resize horizontally and vertically when you change the height and width of the main Quicken window, and if you hide Dashboard cards so there are only a few of them, they resize larger to use the available space. But there's no way to set one card to be wider or taller than any of the others.
For instance, the Spending by Category card shows about 7-9 categories (depending on the height of the main Quicken window) before lumping everything else into "Other". If I hide various other cards so there are only 6 or 4 cards on the screen, the Spending by Category card grows taller, so I can see more categories outside of "Other". But to achieve that, I had to sacrifice by hiding other cards.
The request here is to add a simple setting to the Customize setting for Dashboard cards to set a card to be double-wide or double-tall. The code to allow cards to resize already exists, and this wouldn't break the existing grid layout of the cards. It would allow users to make a card taller to show more categories in the Spending by Categories card, or to see more upcoming Bills & Income or Uncategorized Transactions without scrolling.
