I updated to V67.7 and it is still freezing. Also performed a validate/repair. File often opens with incorrect data. I close it and sometimes it resolves.
First thing to try, as a one-time experiment, is to try do initiate downloads from each financial institution individually, via clicking the Gear icon in the upper right corner of the account's register and then clicking "Update Transactions".
Even if there's nothing to download at the moment, that will help to narrow down the issue.
When you have the "hang", do you get any error messages or codes?
And, after reading your post, i tried a One Step Update of all of my accounts, and it proceeded without issue, so it's not obvious as a V67.7 problem, because I'm running that also.
Thank you for the suggestion. It hangs on CIT Bank. I've had problems with this institution before. I'm going to disable it until I get further instruction from Quicken.
I too am running 67.7 Quicken Classic Business and my ability to update accounts has deteriorated to now it hanging on all accounts regardless of trying to update individually or as a group. The only way out of the lockup is killing the program via task manager.
