Subscription renewed, but not recognised on local (W11) installation.
OS - Windows 11 Pro, fully up to date. Hardware - Surface Pro.
Quicken version - Classic Premier. R62.16. Build 27.1.62.17. Am aware that latest version is R67.7
I use Quicken only on my personal PC, without any online connections to financial institutions. All files are local, with no use of Onedrive, Dropbox, etc.
My annual subscription was renewed on or around March 20, 2026. A confirmation email was received, and my on-line Quicken.com account shows that my subs is valid until March 2027.
However when I fire up Quicken on my PC, which I do pretty much daily, there is a banner stating that my subscription has expired. "Please renew at Quicken.com for full feature access".
For obvious reasons (double charging), I am reluctant to go through the renewal process.
I have used Quicken for multiple years, including the last several consecutive years on a subscription basis. I don't recall any similar issues in the past - as far as I recall the renewal process was smooth and transparent.
Any suggestions for fixing this would be appreciated.

Hello @RM-9000,
Thank you for reaching out and for providing those details.
What you’re seeing can sometimes happen when the local installation hasn’t fully refreshed the subscription status, even though it shows correctly on your Quicken.com account.
The most common fix for this is to sign out of your Quicken ID within the program and then sign back in. This forces Quicken to re-sync your subscription status.
Here’s how to do that as outlined in this support article:
- Click on the Edit Menu and select Preferences.
- In the left panel, select Quicken ID & Cloud Accounts.
- Click Sign in as a different user.
- Type "yes" as prompted and click Sign Out.
- Close Quicken and reopen it.
- Sign back in with your Quicken ID. Ensure that you are using the same Quicken ID (email address) used when you renewed your subscription.
Hope this helps!
