How to resolve CC-501 error for First Bank - CA, IL, MO

Using Quicken Classic for Windows R67.7

Occurred out of the blue since 4/4/26. No previous issue with either the bank or a new release.

I have followed the applicable steps suggested weekly with no resolution.

I can manually download my account information into Quicken but Express Web Connect does not work.

I have verified my password in Vault.

Any help to rectify this annoyance will be most appreciated.

    Are you getting any error codes, or messages, when you try to download using EWC?

    Can you download from other banks/cards/etc?

    To NotACPA:

    I just get a message stating CC - 501 unknown error message. This is only for this bank and not other banks or cards.

    Hello @LaJe,

    Thank you for reporting the CC-501 error you are seeing.

    When Quicken is unable to connect to your bank account for recent transaction information, you’ll receive a message with these errors in the program. This is usually caused on the bank’s end — Quicken is blocked from connecting to the account.

    Typically, we are already aware and working to fix these issues when they occur.

    If you receive one of these errors, please wait 24 hours and then try again. If the issue still persists after this time period, please contact Quicken Support.

    This type of error may require our support agents to review logs in order to identify the issue and fix the problem.
