Banking Account will not download (import) history of transactions
I spent an hour with the Quicken Help Person on the phone a few days ago trying to fix this issue. He tried everything and finally did an import from a test file which downloaded some of the transactions. There were some duplicates that I had manually entered but I can delete them. I followed his instructions and attempted a download (import) of the past few days of transactions that had cleared the bank but it still didn't work. Also my online balance is not visible on the account register online. I don't have this issue with any other online accounts. This problem began a couple of months ago with an attempted download. I'm thinking about uninstall/reinstalling the program. I regularly backup my files so I can restore the data.

When you to TOOLS, Account List … what shows in the "Transaction Download", "Last Download" & "Financial Institution" columns next to the account.
What TYPE of account is it?
When you attempted a download, in what way did it not work? What exactly happened?

Following the above instructions (NotACPA): under Tools; Account list: Transaction Download and Last Download has "Not available" and under Financial Institution there is a blank.
This is a checking account for a Credit Union Banking Account
When downloading to Quicken the download appears to work, after I click account history with the date, on my task bar the Quicken icon flashed as though it is downloading the transactions but then when I open the account there are no downloaded transactions at the bottom of the register.

Additional comment: when I had the Quicken support staff on line we did a shared screen and he tried several different things. When ending the call he said the next download attempt should work but it did not.
I'm considering uninstall and reinstall Quicken.

@CRGal With the Financial Institution column being blank, that account isn't currently connected for download.
But until you provide the actual name of the CU, we can't research what options are available or if there's any current problems with that CU.
