savings account register mismatch

the online balance and the balance shown in the reconcile screen are correct, but the balance shown on the left hand side showing all the accounts is incorrect … how to make the adjustment? seems it has happened to a few of my saving accounts.

The Account Bar can show two different balances. Right click on a blank spot on the Account Bar.

You can select "Show Current Balance in Account Bar" or "Show Ending Balance in Account Bar".

The current balance will most likely get you the same as the online balance provided you don't any uncleared transactions in the register or any reminders that are showing that are on this date or earlier.

still not fixed.. I changed it to show ending balance in the account bar … on the reconcile page, it should Cleared balance & statement ending balance. it shows -3221.50.

On the reconcile page .. Cleared balance & statement balance the same at 1778.50. This matches what my current online bank balance.

Maybe if you could post some screenshots what you are seeing it might make more sense. You can just show the balances last few transactions in the register of the account, the reconcile information you talked about and the balance on the Account Bar. You can just drag and drop the images in the comment box.

found the problem… discovered an uncleared entry.. clicked on cleared and then reconciled … everything matches now.. thanks for all the help.
