One (1) Fidelity account not updating correctly

On April 2 I posted

"Good timing, I have been wondering if I needed to do something. Good news, the account with complete tracking has been updating correctly since a few days after my first comment. Bad news, the account with simple tracking has gone bonkers. After the scheduled nightly update the account balance will be at zero or some small amount. I found I could download updates on just that 1 account and the update works fine(correct balance). Then I found I could just rerun the nightly backup (from Toolbar) One Step Update → All Accounts and the problem account would have correct figures. As of this morning that is the situation. Thank you for your efforts."

I just checked back and someone didn't read the bad news part as the discussion was closed. Situation is still as described. Scheduled auto update returns incorrect balance on simple tracking account but when I run the backup manually both accounts have the correct balance.

Is the scheduled nightly update an update you scheduled through Tools>Schedule Updates…?
- If not, then what process do you use for the nightly update?
When did you first notice this behavior?
Is the scheduled update the only thing that triggers this behavior?
- If not, what other actions trigger it?
Are any other accounts affected by this?
Have you restarted your computer since this issue started?

It only and always happened during nightly scheduled update. I could manually run the update during the day and data was correct.

I first noticed wrong balances on this account when you fixed the wrong balances on my other Fidelity account but I cannot be certain it started at that time.

Computer restarted many times

For the first time since this started it did not occur last night. However when I tried to open Quicken this morning I got the update in progress message and in Task Manager there were several Quicken related tasks running so I just rebooted the computer. If you did something you may have fixed it. We will know tomorrow. I have never been able to duplicate the problem running the update routine, it only happened when scheduled.

After todays scheduled update balance on problem Fidelity account was 00.00 again this morning. I guess yesterdays balance was only correct because the update never ran. The balance does not always reset to 00.00, usually it is a small amount, less then 1,000.00 but seems random.
