Unable to download from banks

Question

I have a new computer, I restored a backup file.  Now I am unable to download from some banks.  At the moment I cannot get Barclay to download.  I am using Quicken Classic Deluxe, Version R67.7. Build 27.1.67.7.

For reference, I got the same issue with Chase, but was able to fix it by reauthorizing Chase, but that is not an option for Barclay.  Other banks are downloading fine.

My error message reads:

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.  Click OK to try again or enter an alternative path to a folder containing the installation package Quicken.msi in the box below.

I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling Quicken.  The bank accounts now download.  But it did miss some old transactions which messed up my accounts in another way.  But, problem solved.

I am a bit over my head here with your question.  It looks like quicken is located on my C:\Windows

I'm not sure how to find the data file.  The open this quicken file is C:\users\folgema\desktop.  I also see it on One Drive.

Where is your Q program installed?  Where is your Q data file located?

Q, being of a much older design, expect both to be located on your hard drive … not on any networked resources.
