Portfolio Data Access

Quicken can capture a lot of good data about a security but you cannot access the data in the reports or export functions. For example, I want to view my portfolio by account/security and show all of the data in the Portfolio Value report but also include Security Type and Investing Goal. I know you can filter on these data, but I want them as columns in the report so I can do analysis on securities by Security Type and/or Investing Goal. Same is true for the Additional Security Information (Other Info in Security Detail), such as Rating, etc. There is no way to report on this information. I should be able to make reports on any data fields in Quicken so I can do proper analysis of my portfolio. Has anyone found a way to access this data?

You can do some of what you want in the Investing > Portfolio views. You can click on Customize to access a lot of optional columns, including Morningstar rating and estimated income. You can also group (i.e. subtotal) the views in various ways, including Security Type and investing goal.

You can also export the selected data for further analysis.
