Unable to add accounts in Quicken, and now unable to open Quicken [Edited]

I have had Quicken for many years and never experienced this.

First, I can't add accounts and was told that it's a Quicken problem being resolved, with unknown timing.

Now, I can't even open my Quicken to do anything. Is this part of repairing the first issue of being unable to connect with banking institutions to add accounts or update accounts? HELP

What TYPE of accounts are you trying to add from WHICH Financial Institution?
