Connection Status Window seems to randomly pick a screen and/or monitor

Help!  It's driving me bonkers!

Quicken Classic

Version 8.5.2 (Build 805.60133.100)

macOS 26.4.1

Here's the situation…   I have two monitors (though I mostly use them in "Mirror" mode) and utilize the "Screens" in macOS.  When I open Quicken, it seems to work properly.  However, when I refresh my accounts, the "Connection Status" window pops up either on a different screen OR different monitor.  I'd like to understand how I can get it to use the SAME screen as the main Quicken window.

Any ideas?  It's been this way for quite some time.

Updated to Version 9.0.3 (Build 900.60651.100) yesterday, and it seems like this problem went away.  I've closed and opened it a few times and so far the connection status window opens correctly over the main Quicken window.

Thank you for letting us know about this issue! I tested in my own file and see similar behavior. I have a dual-monitor setup, and the Connection Status window consistently appears on the wrong monitor. I found that if I move the window to the desired location, the program will remember it until it is closed and reopened. Then it goes right back to the wrong monitor. I tried exiting Quicken with the Connection Status window up in the desired location, but it still appeared in the wrong location when I opened the program again.

I would try moving the status window to the monitor/screen you want it displayed on, then exit Quicken without closing the Connection Status window. Then reopen Quicken & see if it stays where you put it. If it does, close the status window & hopefully next time it will reappear there again.

If the monitor or screen you chose isn't available when Quicken needs to display that window, then all bets are off.
