US T Note purchases downloading as an "Unidentified Security" from Merrill Lynch

Several new note purchases are downloading as "Unidentified Security" without the detailed information, including the CUSIP number. If I enter it manually, there is no way to link the bond to the information at Merrill. It also will not show the market value of the note. I spent 2.5 hours with support and did not get the issue resolved. Anyone else having this issue and did you find a workaround?

Hello @Rod W,

Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this issue. To help troubleshoot, I reviewed your interaction with Support. I can see they recommended the following:

Rename the transaction in the register.
Delete the Unidentified from the security list.
The next download will start to match the securities correctly.

I recommend following those steps and reaching back out to Support if the issue persists with the next download.

We tried that solution and it didn't work. The US T Note will not link up with the information in my Merrill Lynch account. The CUSIP number is the only way to connect the T Note in Quicken to the T Note in my Merrill account. I don't understand why I can't add (edit) the CUSIP number in the T Note detail. That would solve the entire issue.
