Getting a CC 502 error for the last week when I try to update my Computershare account.
Hello @irasend1,
Thank you for reporting the issue you are experiencing.
I checked your connections internally and can confirm you are getting the CC-502 Error. This error is caused by maintenance on the bank's servers that Quicken uses to download transactions.
We recommend that you don't deactivate and reactivate your account(s) to troubleshoot this specific issue, as it could cause other problems.
There are currently no alerts for this financial institution.
Try waiting one business day. This error message is typically caused by maintenance on your bank's website. You can try updating again in a few hours or the next business day. If the issue still occurs after one business day, try the steps above again.
Please Contact Us so we can help you fix this issue.
Thanks again!
This problem is continuing greater than one week, despite trying the above "remedy"(which sounds to me like the bot version of "the check's in the mail"). Anyone else having this issue?
Thank you for your reply,
(which sounds to me like the bot version of "the check's in the mail")
CC-502 (time out) errors are often temporary errors caused by heavier-than-usual traffic or by the financial institution temporarily throttling the connection. Since this issue has been going on for longer than 24 hours, I recommend that you contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance, as they have access to tools we can't access on the Community, and they can escalate the issue as needed. The Quicken Support phone number can be found through this link here. Phone support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, Monday through Friday.
I apologize that I could not be of more assistance!
