Does this Alert apply to you?:
Also,I see there are 2 different Financial Institutions (FIs) available in Add Account: Mr. Cooper and Rocket Mortgage. Which one are you trying to connect with?
I just want to link my acct like I've done for yrs. Using the "add acct" button in Quicken. [Removed - Disruptive] I have as many accts that won't connect for one reason or another as do. It's getting so frustrating. I'm thinking Quicken is reducing its usefulness. [Edited - Language] I expect solutions in days, maybe weeks. Months are unacceptable! Seriously? My question has not been answered. Payoff or linking?
ps: come on Kristina
Well, I'm sorry to see your response because I asked some simple questions in an effort to perhaps provide some assistance. But instead of answering you just griped and appeared to put up a wall so no one will know how to provide assistance. As, such, I am moving on. I hope you get the answers you are looking for so you can get Quicken functioning properly.
BTW, this is a Community discussion site made up primarily of users just like you and me. There are a few Quicken employees who are Moderators and do participate in discussions and can also assist in troubleshooting but if you are looking for technical you need to contact Quicken Support via the contact information found in this link: https://www.quicken.com/support/search-opt/.
Sorry. I did not mean to offend. I was just sniping at the "Quicken geniuses" You jumped in attempting to help. I don't need help. They do. Thx anyway tho.
BTW, I have 21 mos left on my note. Do you have a guess?
No idea whatsoever. Quicken Inc doesn't usually provide ETAs for fixes to issues that come up. I think this is largely because when there are connection issues they often are not entirely in control the fix. With EWC and EWC+ accounts there are often at least 2-3 other companies that need to be engaged in identifying the cause, testing the fix and implementing it….Intuit (the aggregator), the Financial Institution and increasingly 1 or more 3rd party providers for servers, storage, IT and/or security services. On top of that, many of these various functions are often scattered around the world so there are often delays encountered because of time zone differences. All of these things can required some time to get everyone coordinated on the priorities, schedules and application of needed resources.
On top of this, Quicken Inc. is a pretty small company that has a customer base of 1M+ and has 13K+ financial institutions that are involved with downloading into Quicken. And they need to split up their development team resources between Quicken Classic for Windows, Quicken Classic for Mac (a different software), Quicken on the Web, Quicken Mobile, Quicken Simplifi (an online only personal financial planning application) and several add-on services such as Quicken Bill Manager, Online Backup and LifeHub.
I know it's frustrating when issues come up and they are not fixed right away (I've been frustrated many times myself) but I keep reminding myself of these things and then try to be as patient as I can be because I know that eventually the issue will be resolved.
