Currency problem in reports

I am unable to generate reports in any currency other than home currency.

No matter which currency I select, the report generates in USD (home currency).
The currency selector contains an entry called "Unit" for some reason (see screenshot below).
I do not have the option to enable or disable new features in reports; it does not appear in the Edit Preferences menu.

I saw that this might have been an issue earlier this year, but the solution was to disable the test features. As I noted in #3 above, I cannot do that.

Anyone else having this issue? I tried reinstalling the latest patch manually, and then reinstalling Quicken from scratch. Neither worked.

It appears to be independent of data file as I get the same problem regardless of which data file I use.

Thank you for sharing what you are experiencing and for outlining the troubleshooting steps you’ve already taken. That information is very helpful.

I’d appreciate it if you could provide a bit more information:

When did the issue first begin?
Have you tried restoring a backup from before the issue started?

I was unable to replicate the issue on my end. When you have a chance, could you please test the report behavior in a new test data file?

Steps to create a test file:

Choose File menu > New Quicken File.
Select New Quicken File.
Click OK.
In the File name field, enter the name of the new file then click Save (Don't use any of these characters: * ? < > | " : \ / (asterisk, question mark, left and right angle bracket, pipe, straight quotation marks, colon, BACKSLASH, FORWARD SLASH). Also, don't add the .qdf extension; Quicken does that for you).
Sign in with your Quicken ID. If you are prompted to create a Quicken ID but already have one, click Sign In under the Create Account prompt.
Select if you want to use Mobile.

Enable multi-currency

Go to the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
In the left pane, select Calendar and currency.
Select the Multicurrency support checkbox.
Click OK.

Add offline accounts

Click the Add Account button (the + icon) at the top of the sidebar.
On the Add Account screen, scroll to the bottom and select Offline Account.
On the Offline Accounts screen, choose the appropriate account type. For example:
- Checking (under Banking)

Interesting, it seems to function okay with the new data file.

Do I have to recreate my old data file from scratch? How does one do that with all my existing accounts, investing lots etc.?

Hi @jhrx29,

Thank you for testing the report behavior in a test file.

If you have not already done so, please try validating your original data file to check for and repair any possible file corruption. You can do this by following these steps:

Go to File
Select Validate and Repair File
Choose Validate File
Click OK
Test a report

If the issue persists, you may want to restore a backup from before the problem began. I recommend first testing with a backup copy to see if the issue is resolved there.

If restoring a backup does not help, please try creating a copy of your data file using the steps below, as this process can sometimes resolve file-related issues:

Go to File > Copy or Backup File
In the Backup or Copy File window, under Advanced Options, select Create a copy or template.
Click Next.
Under Where would you like to put the new file?:
Choose a name and location for the copied file.
Use the Browse button if needed to change folders.
Do not include the .QDF extension in the name—Quicken adds it automatically.
Avoid using any of the following characters: * ? < > | " : \ /
When you're ready, click Save Copy.
When asked which file you would like to open, choose New copy.

Note: Creating a copy of the file will disconnect your accounts from automatic transaction downloads.
