I have VGT ETF Holdings. The downloaded price for this security is inaccurate (Edit Security → Price History) from 5/31/2021 to 4/20/2026. I have deleted the incorrect prices but when I sync, the incorrect prices are downloaded again.

When I review the Security Detail for VGT, it appears to be correct, the graph is accurate, etc.

During a Quicken support chat, I created a new Quicken file, added the accounts that have the VGT securities, updated, and the same incorrect price history was downloaded. The tech confirmed the behavior.

This has the effect of incorrectly displaying Net Worth, account values through time, returns, etc.

You have posted in the Windows section of the forum. Are you a Mac user? The Mac instructions may be a little different.

Brokerages often download incorrect transactions for splits.

For Windows, there should be one StkSplit transaction in each account that holds VGT. Enter the split as 6 new shares for each old share, not 1 per 0.1666667, which causes rounding problems. There should be no Added transactions.

In the price history, the price should drop on the same day as the split.

I see the problem. 8 for 1 stock split on 4/21/2026.

Any advice on Quicken correctly handling stock splits?
