error CC-501

Question

i have been getting this error everytime i try to download transactions from my Credit Union. i am able to download from my other Banks with no issue. This has been going on for months now. i have contacted my credit union but there has been no resolution from either quicken or my Credit union. does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this .

This is likely NOT a Quicken issue. A 501 error means the your bank's website is at fault - it is not currently supporting Quicken. The server received your request but doesn't recognize or can't perform the requested action. It is a server-side error. Could be that your bank implemented a system change that is throwing Quicken off.

You should get with your bank and get them to fix it. (Don't be surprised if the bank tries to point a finger back at Quicken.)

Have you directly contacted Official Quicken Support as suggested here:

It seems like that's about the best you can do if the problem isn't actually with your file.

Have you tried a Validate & Repair of the file itself, after making a backup?
