Automatic Category Labeling Stopped since last update

In the past when downloading any account transaction most of time Quicken would attempt to categorize (auto-categorize) it for me. Example: Credit card transaction from a frequent restaurant would automatically populate the Category column. After the latest update all my downloaded transactions are "Uncategorized". I now have to touch each one individually. Not good.

Running: Version 9.0.3 (Build 900.60651.100) MacOS 26.5

@Davi194 In another thread where this was discussed, a Quicken moderator checked with and reported back from the development team about this issue. In the 9.0 release, they fixed a bug which was causing the setting to enable/disable auto-renaming and categorizing not to work correctly. In fixing that problem, they created another one. Currently, auto-categorization will only work if you have cloud sync turned on (Settings > Mobile, Web & Alerts > Sync=On). Some people regularly use this feature; others can turn it on even though they don't plan to use the mobile app or web interface; and there are some of us who always leave this off because of persistent reports of cloud syncing resulting in changes to older data. For now, you have to hav e this on if you want auto-categorization to function. The report from the developers is that they plan to eliminate this dependence in a future release, but we don't know if that will be in the next major release (likely in late June) or sometime further in the future.
