Deactivated all accounts on one of my logins at AFCU. Did an ADD which came back and allowed me to reconnect all CDs. Attempted to do an Update and got this message.
Notice the grayed out Update Now button. Password is already in the Password Manager and is correct. Cannot do an update at all now. And the Account does not show up in the Update Account Settings window. How does this get fixed. In addition, the other three Login accounts at AFCU are still not working.
Hi @Terry520,
Thank you for sharing the details of your issue.
To help with further investigation, could you please verify and let me know which connection method is currently being used?
You can find this information by following these steps:
Also, may I know what happens when you attempt to link the other three login accounts at the same financial institution?
I look forward to your response.
Sorry for the delayed response. That issue with the grayed out button has disappeared. So, two login accounts seem to run, at least the update completes with no errors. They are both express web connect and they are small accounts one or two CDs and savingings. The other two login accounts have been giving errors with no error code. Have tried both connection types with no luck. Both of these accounts have 33 CDs in each account plus savings and checking. What was weird on todays attempt to update, both accounts got the message "an error has occured" with no code, but 4 CDs showed an update on one of the accounts. There should have been multiple updates on both login accounts. The current connection method for both accounts is Direct Connect. If I use the express web connect for these two accounts I get the CC-502 error.
Thank you for coming back.
I reviewed your account on our end, and it appears that the CC-502 error has cleared. At this point, the connection appears to only need an account reset. To do that, please disconnect and reconnect all affected accounts using Express Web Connect by following the steps below (make sure to save a backup first).
1. Deactivate the affected accounts
2. Reactivate and relink the accounts
Once you've completed these steps, please let me know the results. If you encounter any issues during the reconnect process or receive a new error message, I'll be happy to assist further.
This doesn't fix the problem. I have attempted this numerous times. Instead of deactivating 33 accounts in a single logIn, I opened a new Quicken File and attempted to add an account using express connect. It failed with a CC-502 error. Attempted to add the same account using Direct connect. It failed with no error code, but the message was; Quicken is have trouble connecting to America Firt Credit Union. I sent report to support.
Nothing has changed. Still getting errors. Cannot update two of my accounts. Attempted again to open a new Quicken file to connect with America First. It connected and downloaded all my CDs, but with 0 balances. Attempted to due an update and got error. It seems to me that there is a timeout issue as the number of CDs in this login account and another login account are having the same problem. My other two login accounts with two CDs each are connecting fine. If it is a timeout issue, it could be on the America First side. I have multiple CDs at another credit union and have no problems with getting a connection or updates.
Thank you for your reply,
Since the issue is persisting, I recommend contacting Quicken Support directly for further assistance. They have tools we can't access on the Community, and they can escalate the issue as needed. The Quicken Support phone number can be found through this link here. Phone support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, Monday through Friday.
I apologize that I could not be of more assistance!
