Capitol One Bank Account not downloading

After years of no problems, today when I try to download trx from Capitol One, Quicken thows error CC-901, Your bank wants you to reauthorize your account access. So I follow the prompts and the Capitol One login screen appears on a new Chrome tab. I successfully login and begin the authorization process. When I get to the page where I would select the account to authorize, there are no accounts listed and the text on the page says I have no eligible accounts. But I do have one account and as I said I have been downloading from it every month. Quicken for Windows R48.15.

So while looking at the account online at Capitol One, I found some really small print saying the account hadn't been used in a while and I needed to transfer funds in or out of the account to make it "active" again. No other indication anywhere on the account pages that there was in any problem or inactive state in progress but this might be the cause of my download problem. I have put in a transfer and will see if the download works when the account is "active" again. Transfer can take several days so we wait…

Transfer completed, account reactivated and reauthorized with Quicken.

I'm glad to hear you were able to identify the cause and successfully reactivate and reauthorize the account.

Now that the account has been reactivated and reauthorized, are downloads working normally again in Quicken, or are you still encountering any errors or missing transactions?
