In a Fidelity 401(k) account, the transactions (mostly) download correctly, but they always download with the description in all caps, which is an indication that they did not find matching securities in my security list. However, I have held this account and these securities for years; Quicken just can't make the connection. If I look at the security list, each one has a CUSIP number, and if I select it to view the security details box, each one has the "Matched with online security" box checked.
This issue has been going on for a long time, at first sporadically but now for each and every transaction in this account alone—other accounts and other brokerages download fine. It requires me to edit the downloaded transaction with the correct security name, then delete the original transaction, which is two steps more than I ought to have to do. Is there a fix for this issue, please? I'm running Quicken Classic Premier, BTW. Thanks!
