Missing transaction downloads for PNC checking account. Started June 2nd.
Confirmed! Once again, what used to be a reliable PNC download has failed without any errors. This is not suppose to happen with direct connect, but here we are. As before, I'm sure this will clear up in a few days, but makes you wonder what's going on with the bank's IT support?
Has anyone else experienced no PNC Direct Connect downloads for the last two days? I should have gotten 4 items on 6/2/26 (Tuesday) and another 6 items on 6/3/26 (today). I know its early yet today…. but I am nervous that we are seeing a repeat of this past March when we lost downloads for 3 weeks.
I can connect via PNC Direct Connect and it completes with no errors. BillPay payments are working perfectly as well.

None of my pnc transactions are downloading to reconcile since Thursday may 29 2026. No errors. No messages. Just nothing new dowloaded. And there are plenty of newly cleared transactions on the PNC site.
My quicken is up to date. On a Mac.

I have not received a PNC DirectConnect download item since 5/30 Saturday. It is always the case that nothing is sent Sunday/Monday…. but this week feels different. When I log into PNC.com and check the account balance and deducted items, its obvious 10 items should have downloaded and the account balance updated. I can't say I am "missing" the items because the balance didn't update and the account reconciles correctly in Quicken. It's like there just isn't a new DC file to download.

This happened in March and lasted almost a month …. although oddly enough, I wasn't afflicted then. I am hoping that this is something simple and that for whatever reason PNC just hasn't created DC files to download for the last few days.
I am having the same problem, 5/30 was OK, but broken after that. As Charlieo said, same symptoms as in March.
YES!!! nothing since 5/30/26.. So frustrating. I also opened up a post regarding this.

The Bank and/or Quicken IT. Clearly something changed and/or something new was introduced. Do they not test with PNC? I hope this gets fixed soon. It is so frustrating. I have been using quicken since V1, so what, like the late 80s? It has gotten so bad the past few years with these connectivity / integration issues.
I am curious for those now having the DirectConnect download problem with PNC, what your routing number is? Back in March the download issue, I believe, affected only some of PNC's routing numbers. Folks on this forum believed the issue was routing number specific. PNC, according to Google, has 62 routing numbers for banking. I have no idea if that is right or wrong …. but back in March I was not affected and my routing is 0312****. I guess my luck ran out :-)

Same problem here, no checking/savings transactions downloaded since 5/31. Did a "Report a problem". My guess is PNC applied a patch and forgot to deal with customizations for their quicken interface. Hope this doesn't take 3 weeks like in March…. Interesting that when I downloaded the missing days manually from PNC's online banking site and imported the QFX file, quicken didn't seem to recognize the accounts and I had to select the correct account with the pull down selection.
That's funny…. they removed your routing number … but not mine :-). I guess I will remove mine too.
Good news….
Good news is that at 6:15PM EDT on 6.3.26 I did a BillPay payment in Quicken. I damn near fell out of my chair when all 10 of my items downloaded (I have been trying OSU's all day). Two days worth of cleared transactions.
So why no DirectConnect downloads for two/three days? My best guess is that there was some kind of hiccup at PNC rather than at Direct Connect (the OFX provider). In my case, I really don't think there was a DC file to download until just now.
I am hoping that everyone on this thread has the same results after doing an OSU. Is DC fixed? I guess I will have a better idea tomorrow when I should get another 6 items and see 4 online transfers in my PNC DC download…….
If PNC DC is fixed, do I think I jumped the gun by starting this thread after just 2-3 days? Absolutely not. Who knows, maybe our reporting caused Quicken support to touch base with Direct Connect or PNC …. and that got things rolling again.

I updated at 11:30PM ET on Wed and transactions all downloaded and reconciled. Maybe its fixed?

This makes the second PNC Direct Connect download since the two day "outage". I got all 10 items/transfers today.
The file was not available at 8:30AM DST as it usually was, but it was available at 11:05AM.
Hopefully the good luck continues.
