Payee tool editing is painful

When I need to edit payees, I have to start at the very top of the list all over again, even if I just edited (or deleted) a payee whose name starts with J.

Also, if I just want to scroll down the list of all payees using the PageUp and PageDown buttons or the Up and Down arrow buttons, that simply does not work to change the display of payees.

Is this a design feature or a bug?

Thank you for posing this question!

When testing in my own Quicken, I am not seeing any of the behaviors you are describing. I have some follow-up questions for you.

What version of Quicken are you running?
- You can see this by going to Help>About Quicken.
Where is your data file located?
- You can see this by going to File. Near the bottom of the menu, files will be listed, and their locations will be displayed. The first file listed is the one you are currently in/
Is your file being backed up/synced by any third-party services like OneDrive, Dropbox, or Norton?
How long has this issue been happening?
Were there any significant changes that happened around the same time this issue began?
- Like computer updates, Quicken updates, etc.

R67.10 (latest available, per help)

File is stored in directory D:\2026_Quicken. Backup is local using Quicken's built in backup and external using Retrospect Desktop 17.5. Quicken files also sync'ed to my deskop using GoodSync. I do not use any other backup/sync services.

I edit my payees infrequently, and I don't remember seeing this behavior before. Quicken updates are automatic, and my casd the upgrade to this release probably occurred within 2-3 days after release

This is likely a problem with how the page is designed. After you edit or delete a payee, it should normally keep you in the same place, but instead it takes you back to the top. Also, the keyboard keys for scrolling are not working, which suggests that proper navigation was not added or is not working correctly.

@mamta25 Thanks for the comment. It's clear that this page is poorly designed or poorly implemented and tested.
