Syncing windows to mac

I have subscription plan and the newest, not sure release but can look up if important. Basically I do everything on a windows desktop. My wife handles 1 account so I put quicken under same ID on mac air laptop. I thought it would cloud sync but doesn't seem to be working. What is the best way to share data entered on mac over to the windows and vice versa or is it possible?

Unfortunately, there is not a way to keep the Quicken Classic for Windows and Quicken Classic for Mac programs synced together using the same data file. While both products can use the same Quicken ID, they store data in different file formats, so the Windows and Mac desktop applications cannot directly share or sync a single file back and forth.

If you're looking for a way to access and update the same data from multiple devices, you may want to consider using Quicken on the Web, which syncs with your Quicken desktop data and can be accessed from any supported web browser. For more information, please see this support article.

It is possible to convert a Windows file to Mac (or vice versa), but this is a one-time conversion process rather than an ongoing sync. Since you would need to repeat the conversion each time new data is entered, it is generally not recommended as a method for sharing day-to-day updates between users.
