Hi @joel cohen, Thank you for taking the time to reach out with your request.
I went ahead and changed your post to an Idea so other users who have the same or a similar request can vote on your idea by clicking the up arrow (see below).

Thank you!
Please tell us more about the problems you encounter when printing checks from your Mac. What check style are you using? "Wallet Checks (Check 21...)", aka "Wallet Checks" (if you still use some very old stock from many years ago, pre-2006: that's not supported in Q Mac), "Standard Checks", or "Voucher Checks". What printer make and model do you use?

You may need to define and use a Printer Preset which defines a standard page, 8.5*11", no magnification or size reduction, portrait mode. Photo print or automatic form detection does not appear to be supported.
My 2cents' worth: I use Voucher Checks (1 business size check + 2 stubs on an 8.5x11" sheet). My printers do not have a manual feed tray or 2nd paper tray that can easily be reconfigured to feed partial pages (1 or 2 checks left from a 3-checks-per-page sheet), so for my occasional check printing needs Voucher Checks are easiest to use. When making a purchase decision for a new supply of check forms and considering your own check stock to use, consider how easy or difficult it is to feed special forms or odd-size partial pages into your printer.
