Every time you have an update to Quicken Starter, when I try to log-in with my password, the cursor is blinking at the text box, but I have to click AGAIN at the password text box. Why is that?

This been happening for years, and occurs with all editions, not just Starter, since at lteast Windows 8.1.

Normally when you start Quicken by double clicking on the desktop icon, if you have a password protected file you can type the password as soon as the Password box appears.

But when Quicken starts automatically after an update, the file Password box appears to have the focus but you must click in the box before you can type the password.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide the following information?

* Which version and release of Quicken are you currently using? (Help > About Quicken)

* Which version of Windows are you running?
* Does this occur only on the Quicken ID sign-in screen, or do you experience similar behavior elsewhere in Quicken?
* Are you using multiple monitors or any custom display scaling settings?
* If you are using multiple monitors, does the same behavior occur when using only a single monitor?
* Have you tried restarting your computer before performing the Quicken update?
