Unable to add Morgan Stanley At Work account

Question

I've been trying to add a new Morgan Stanley At Work account to my Quicken Classic Deluxe (Windows) R67.10 several times over the past month.  Each time it says:

"Morgan Stanley AT WORK is reporting connection issues"

"The associated accounts can't update right now.  We are investigating the issue"

"Oops.  We're having a problem.  CC-501"

What can I do to fix this or when will it be fixed?

It's not just you. I have the same problem. Quicken support was not helpful.

Their reply:

Morgan Stanley only supports investment accounts using Direct connect. The Direct Connect server is utilized by your Financial Institution to establish a connection with third-party applications such as Quicken. In the event that you encounter difficulties with the connection for your accounts linked through Direct Connect, please note that Quicken Support does not have the authority to access these servers or the transmitted data. As a result, we regret to inform you that we are unable to resolve the issue, you have to contact their online banking division and elevate the matter to their attention, apologies for the inconvenience there.

So, basically, even though the error says they are working on it, they are not. And we're supposed to take it up with Morgan Stanley.

Morgan Stanley At Work is a Participating Financial Institution … so, you need to research the CC-501 error (by searching using the box at the top of the page), to figure out what to do.
