I am unable to locate my Discover Bank (Savings Accounts) using the suggested instructions with respect to Capital One. I can see the Capital One Credit Cards, but not my Discover Bank (Savings Accounts). Please Advise…
Hi @mmpunch, Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community and for bringing this to our attention.
To better understand the issue, I have a few questions:
The answers to these questions will help us better determine what may be causing the issue.
I look forward to your reply!
The Discover Savings account has been in place for several years.
It fails when trying to add through Discover Bank.
It is not visible when I sign into Capital One.
The account does not show up as a selection.
The account receives interest on a monthly basis.
Has Capital One told you that the Discover Accounts have been transitioned?
I got the email a week or so ago that it was going to happen, but not yet and would be notified when it did happen.
Hi @mmpunch,
Thanks for your reply.
Based on the information you have provided, it appears that the savings account may not have been migrated to Capital One yet, since the account is not visible during the authorization process or on the Capital One website.
We look forward to your reply.
I just wanted to follow up since We haven’t heard back from you. I’m checking in to see if you still need assistance.
Still issues. I don’t think it’s yet migrated.
Thanks for your reply and for the update. If the accounts have not yet been migrated, you should still be able to connect them using the Discover Bank financial institution. If you are still experiencing issues with missing accounts, I recommend contacting Quicken Support for further assistance. They can guide you through additional troubleshooting steps in real time or escalate the case if necessary.
Phone support is available Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM PT to 5:00 PM PT.
I hope this helps!
Carlos, I am trying to connect 2 Discover Bank Savings accounts. However, within Quicken's Financial Institution Selection, Discover Bank is not listed, only Discover Card is listed. When I login to my Wife's Discover Account, both her Credit Card and Savings accounts are shown; and there is no indication that these have been migrated to Capital One. Also, when I login to my Discover Account, my Savings account is shown; and there is no indication of being migrated to Capital One.
Good News, I just reconnected my Discover Savings Account via Quicken/Discover. And just now reconnected her Savings account and Credit Card via Quicken/Discover. So, I guess that have not been migrated to Capital One. I've been using Quicken for 38+ years.
Thanks for that tidbit, please see my last note to Carlos. I've been using Quicken for 38+ years.
Thanks for your reply and the update.
I'm glad to hear that you were able to reconnect all of your accounts. Since Discover has made some changes, the Discover Card financial institution entry may now support banking accounts in addition to credit card accounts.
I recommend monitoring the connection going forward. If you receive a notification from Capital One indicating that your accounts have been migrated, please let us know, and we can walk you through the process of migrating your accounts to the Capital One connection in Quicken.
If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach back out. We are happy to help!
Thank you.
Okay…
