Is there any way to get this loan added properly to Quicken or should I stop trying?
I have tried to add this account multiple times and it hasn't worked. So, I created a loan manually. But I thought I'd try one last time. I'd like to either (1) add the loan to Quicken properly without creating it manually OR (2) add online services to the loan I created manually in Quicken.
OPTION #1: THE LOAN ACCOUNT I CREATED MANUALLY
It does not appear that there is a way to link this account to the lender.
(1) The existing loan account that I created manually has all the functionality of a loan.
(2) The existing loan account that I created manually does not have online services
OPTION #2: ADDING THE LOAN ACCOUNT
If I use the ADD ACCOUNT process to add the account to Quicken, the process finds all of the accounts at the lender. The loan account is included in this listing.
(1) Account Type: The loan is shown as a credit card. There are no other options in the drop-down menu.
(2) Link to Existing Account: If I try to "Link to existing account," the only options that are displayed are credit cards. The loan does not appear (see image below).
OPTION #3: ADD AS CREDIT CARD
If I add it as a credit card, it loses the loan functionality and the ability to link to an asset, though it does have Online Services and can download transactions.
Is there any way to get this account added to Quicken or linked properly to the bank?
