Tax Year Tags

It would just be nice to be tag tax years to transactions. This is particularly useful for tax payments and tax planning/reporting.

You can already do this yourself. Are you saying that Quicken should automatically apply a tax year tag to every transaction? Personally I only want the tag on tax-related transactions - taxable income, deductible expenses, and other things I would need at tax time - so I would not use that. Also, since tax years don’t line up with calendar years I’m not sure how Quicken would apply the correct tag in all cases.

Thanks for the comment Jon. Tag is not integrated into Tax planning/reporting. In addition, I'd have to give up my current tags, which I don't want to do. Similarly, I'd like to see Asset tags added as a 3rd layer for Asset tracking. Those would be 3 distinctly different layers. I know how to do these things operationally today, I want to add functionality that eliminates my time for common tasks.
