Credit Cards - Statement Memo numbers to Names

A single credit card account can have multiple credit card numbers. The last 4 numbers of the card are displayed in the "Statement Memo" field. It would great if there was a way to change those numbers to a name instead of numbers. Example, we have 5 credit cards in one account, once for each family member. All transactions are downloaded for that one account, and the statement memo is the only way to segregate the purchases. I can't always remember which credit card number is for which family member.

The last four digits are downloaded from the financial institution and stored as part of the transaction's downloaded data. Quicken lets you display the Statement Memo column and use it for filtering or sorting, but it doesn't provide a way to replace those card numbers with custom names in the register.

Some possible workarounds are:

• Use Tags (e.g., John, Mary, Sarah) to identify transactions for each cardholder.
• Use renaming rules to modify the regular Memo field, although renaming rules cannot change the Statement Memo field itself.
