Display BUG - investment register shows wrong number of shares

Today I bought a single share of SPCX and after entering that purchase in my register - the Share Bal column shows 100,000,000 (commas added for clarity by me - there's no decimal point).

First thing that I'd try is to delete that transaction, and re-input it.

And, if you download into this account, I'm pretty sure you're going to get a Placeholder tomorrow, given the discrepancy.

It's also possible that you have a corrupted Q data file, as there's other discrepancies in the display.

SO, if the Delete/re-input doesn't fix things you might try taking a Backup (just in case) and doing FILE, Validate and Repair file, check "Validate File" and click OK.

Did all those things … no change to the display output.

Contact Q Support, via the link at the top of this page. You could have a corrupted program install (which MIGHT be corrected by a re-install), but beyond that I'm at a loss to explain this … particularly if you deleted and re-input the transaction.
