One Step Update nag screen?

All of a sudden in the past little while importing QFX files from TD (not RBC or Capital One) I am getting nag screens to set up One Step Update. How can I turn these off? I have not used One Step update for years, I download and manually import QFX files.

Might it be possible that TD Canada does not want to support QFX (OFX) file downloads any longer?
"For security reasons", as they say, there have been some banks which recently dropped support for QFX preferring that you use the supposedly more secure One Step Update process instead.

Normally when you get this kind of thing there is a dialog that asks if you want to switch or not. I guess that for some reason that dialog is missing.

What the message actually means is that you are using Web Connect (QFX file) and the financial institution supports Express Web Connect, as in logging into the financial institution and getting the transactions using One Step Update.

Yeah - I get that, but the message is new? I have been doing Web Connect for years, all my accounts are set up to do Web Connect only, and I am not interested in One Step Update. Once I declined to switch once - it used to stay turned off. Wondered if anyone else was seeing that, especially since it only seems to happen with TD.

I don't have Quicken Windows Canadian and an account with TD so I can't answer why it is doing it now. Mostly I was just clarifying that this isn't TD doing anything. It has to be something that Quicken is doing.

Once you tell Quicken that you don't want to switch it should stop asking and going to the Account Details dialog.
