I am a long time Quicken Premier user; since the
early 1990's. I have always purchased a new year's subscription (or
version before subscriptions were the only option) from other sellers
because it was 2/3 of Quicken's price. This year I am reading from the
reviews on other Seller's sites that Quicken is not allowing the
activation codes on the purchase to function except for true new users. Is the only option to extend my subscription, the renewal through Quicken?
I don't care about most of the Bells & Whistles the new Quicken
versions have added. I only use it to keep track of my investments and
record my ACH bill payments. I never use Quicken's Bill Pay, Mobile, or
a number of the other parts. The Planner is a great tool but I am
retired and have everything set for a comfortable life. I always
thought that repeat customers should be treated better than new ones
because over years of business they made a company more money. I guess
that is not longer true. If I have to pay Quicken the high price for
the renewal; it may be my last year to use Quicken.
