My deluxe classic subscription is ending soon.

You can save a bunch by buying quicken deluxe from non-quicken sites. but they say for new subscribers.

Any downside to creating a new account and then opening your existing quicken file?

Or if you are new, it doesn't let you open an existing file? You have to import it some way?

Any other downsides / reasons to not get the new subscriber deal? I have loads of email addresses.

Your Quicken data file is separate from your subscription, and your existing data file would generally remain usable. However, eligibility for offers advertised as "new subscribers only" is determined by your Quicken subscription status.
