How can I stop Quicken from downloading scheduled transactions?

I use Billpay at my bank to pay my bills. I've set up scheduled repeating transaction with the bank with a set amount so I will never be late by accident. Now that quicken is downloading these future transactions when I update the account, I will never be able to reconcile my account. There are always scheduled transactions with a placeholder amount for bills I haven't received yet. I need to stop syncing these transactions. Is it a setting at my bank? Is it this 'direct connect' thing? It is making thing unnecessarily complicated.

To better understand the issue, I'd like to ask a few questions:

• Which financial institution is this account connected to?
• Is the Show Pending Transactions option turned off in your settings? To confirm, go to Edit > Preferences > Pending Transactions.

• Are these scheduled transactions appearing in the account register as regular downloaded transactions, or are they showing with a gray clock icon?

If possible, please provide a screenshot of the downloaded scheduled transactions in the register. This will help us determine whether the transactions are being downloaded from the financial institution or generated by Quicken.
