Windows 11, Quicken R67.10, Build 27.1.67.10.
I had a deferred income account closed out where Fidelity shows the transactions a withdrawals only, no share or share price information. I now finally have the share and price information and attempted to enter these data as Sold shares, cash to account which would then be transferred to a bank account. Quicken will not allow me to change to this model becasue via the electronic update connection, I have zero shares in the account. I tried backdating to up to 1 year prior to the closing, but still get the zero shares blocking by Quicken.
How should I go about recording the number of shares, with price information leading to a cash transfer once entered? Thank you.
