Add/Assign the macOS default keyboard shortcut to Enter Full Screen

The default keyboard shortcut for entering Full Screen mode is Command + Control + F. Please assign this as the default shortcut.

(Not sure why it is not there already).

(Ideally, there should also be an option/setting to ALWAYS enter Full Screen mode when starting Quicken)

Work-around in the meantime:

You can assign this yourself.

Go to Apple  > System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > App Shortcuts. If you have never created shortcuts for Quicken, click the + button and choose Quicken; otherwise, click on Quicken
Then in the Menu Title, type the exact name of the menu in Quicken, i.e, Enter Full Screen (As a general FYI, always include any special characters that may be present, such as ">" or "...").
Click in the “Keyboard shortcut” field and press the key combination you want to use. I suggest using the standard Command-Control-F key combination.
Close the Settings window.

Now pressing Command + Control + F in Quicken will enter Full Screen mode.

The default shortcut for Full Screen varies depending on the keyboard you have, at least under Tahoe. My M5 MacBook Air and the wireless keyboard (model A3118) for my Mac Studio both have a globe key in the lower left (on the laptop it's labeled with both a globe symbol and "fn"). With those keyboards the default Full Screen shortcut is Globe-F, and that's consistent across many Apple and third-party apps including Quicken. However Command-Control-F also works in every app I tried other than Quicken even though it's not shown in any of the menus, so it's not unreasonable to expect it to work in Quicken as well even if it isn't the default.

If I connect an old wired full-size keyboard instead (model A1243) which does not have the globe key in the lower left but does have a fn key above the cursor keys, the default keyboard shortcut for Full Screen is fn-F, and again that's consistent across all the apps I checked including Quicken.

It seems like this may have changed a few years ago, so if you're using an older version of macOS (or a keyboard without either globe or fn keys) the default shortcut might still be Command-Control-F.

I guess I'm not understanding this request… Quicken already has a keyboard shortcut for Full Screen mode. I'd argue that the simple two-key Globe-F Quicken uses is a simpler shortcut than the three-key Command-Control-F requested here. But anyone who prefers a different keyboard command can change this, or any, shortcut using macOS App Shortcuts as described above.

As we've seen with the UI changes in the latest release to comply with the Tahoe/Liquid Glass design, the Quicken Mac team generally tries to keep Quicken relatively current with Apple's ever-changing official design guidelines. In this case, as @Jon said, Apple's own apps and many third party apps now use Globe-F as the standard command key for Full Screen mode.

(Apple calls the key labeled with globe or glove and "fn" the "Globe key", but it is used interchangeably and synonymously with "Function key". I believe the history of this key is that it evolved from the older Function (fn) key as Apple wanted to unify the Mac and iPad keyboards. Apple's official documentation and macOS settings refer to it primarily as the "Globe key," while still acknowledging its role in invoking Function (fn) keys. Depending on your keyboard settings, the Globe key can perform certain functions by itself, such as triggering the emoji picker, starting dictation, or changing input sources, while the Function key functionality is always pressing and holding the Globe key and one or more other keys.)

It appears the default shortcut changed in Mojave, in Mac OS X 11 and earlier it was Command-Control-F. So if a long time Mac user has Command-Control-F hardwired into their fingers after a couple decades of use, and most apps still support it today even though it's no longer the default, I can't fault them for complaining that it no longer works in Quicken & wanting to see it back.
