Does the Quicken Classic Mobile App Support Data Entry?

Hello,

Does the Quicken Classic mobile app support data entry for new transactions, or can it only edit transactions that already exist?

I'm asking because the product page only shows dashboards and graphs, and I couldn't find any screenshots demonstrating transaction data entry in the mobile app.

It supports transaction entry for banking accounts (checking, savings, credit cards). It does not support that for investing accounts (brokerage, IRA, etc).

Thank you for your question.

Yes, you can enter new transactions directly in the Quicken Mobile App. To do so:

Add Transactions

* Open the Quicken Mobile App
* Select the account you want to add the transaction to
* Tap the plus icon at the bottom of the screen
* Complete the transaction details by adding a Category, Tag, Memo, and Payee. When entering the amount, you can specify if it is an expense or income by toggiing the +/- button in the bottom left of the number pad.  
* Add or Edit a Split: If you'd like to add a Split to the transaction, swipe left on the transaction, then select Split. You can also add a Category this way.  
* Add or Edit a Picture: follow the steps here
* Tap Save to finish adding the transaction

Transfers: At this time, transactions that are transfers are not editable in the Quicken Mobile App. If you would like to create a transfer, you must do so in the desktop application. Once you add the transfer on the desktop app, it will appear in mobile but you will not be able to edit it.
