Why is the Edit Transactions button grayed out?

Windows 11, Quicken Classic Deluxe, R67.10

I need to change the Payee on numerous transactions. My process is Find All Transactions and after populated I am unable to select multiple transactions, box grayed out and the Edit Transactions button is grayed out also. My only option is to select each individual transaction and edit. Any suggestions?

@FEC instead of stating what you tried, and didn't work, it would be helpful if you'd explain what you're trying to change and why.  There are multiple methods (stated by others) of changing a security … but since you haven't stated what needs to change and why we're hamstrung.

@UKR It is not clear what the underlying issue is.  The two steps you offer are essentially the same thing. Both would change the security name for all such transactions across all accounts. That is really just a change for the sake of it.  To paraphrase:  A ‘security’ by any other name would smell as sweet, … er … be the same thing. I am doubting that is the OP’s desire.

Since this refers to a security, wouldn't either

* renaming the security in the Security List or
* entering a Corporate Name Change transaction

achieve the desired result?
