I keep running into situations where the Windows version can do something that the Mac version can't. Most recent case, copy to clipboard more than one security price history entry at a time.
They are totally different programs, so you should not be surprised that there are differences. As a young, modern code base program, Quicken Mac is continuously adding new features. If you find something that you feel is essential for your work, post a wish in the Ideas forum so that people can vote on it and it may make it into QMac sooner than later.
Search for existing ones and vote on them first, before creating a new one. ;-)
I pay the same for Mac version as I do Windows. If they charged half, I might buy your child vs mature arguement.
Maybe you would feel better if they changed the name of the two products?
Quicken Windows isn't Quicken Mac, just as neither of them are Simplifi. They have similar features, but they are not the same product. And how much you pay for them is totally irrelevant.
And believe it or not there are things that Quicken Mac can do that Quicken Windows can't.
