Issue with connection to Fidelity

This morning, both Mac and Windows had error messages for Fidelity downloads. Mac resolved itself quickly, but Windows kept saying it would work by Noon PDT. It is still not downloading plus deactivate and re-activate does not work. Is anyone else having issues? I am not seeing this listed as a known issue.

And those error messages were??? Because I downloaded from Fidelity Investments at 7am CDT this morning (and again just now @ 7:27pm) without issue.

With the knowledge of the specific messages, we might be able to help you.

It's not showing the error message any longer (but still not downloading). The error message this morning was something like the system was blocked from 7AM PDT until 12PM PDT and to wait until then to try again.

I tried deactivating the account online setup and re-activating and Fidelity gives me the message "HTTP Status 400 – Bad Request"

Yes, I am had same results Jul 1 2026. Still (Jul 2 2026) not updating even though One-Step Update summary shows successful synchronization. No error message. Investment accounts updated after resetting credit card account. But credit card account did not update. No error. One-Step update reported successful update even though credit card count failed to update.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing what you're experiencing.

@Jay Gourley, I checked and refreshed your accounts on our end, and they appear to be connected properly. When you have a chance, please try updating your accounts again and let me know if the issue persists.

@Regina@, your accounts will need to be reconnected. Please try updating them, and if you encounter an error, follow the steps below:

1. Deactivate the affected accounts

Select the Tools menu and select Account List....
In the Account List, select the account you want to deactivate, and then click Edit.
In the Account Details window, click the Online Services tab.
Click Deactivate next to the service you want to disable.
Click Yes to the message confirming if you want to disable this service.
Repeat these steps for each affected account.
Log in to your bank’s website and revoke Quicken’s third-party access (if applicable).

2. Reactivate and relink the accounts

Go to Tools> Add account
Select the bank for the deactivated account(s). If prompted, select the connection method.
Enter your credentials and click Connect.
When the list of located accounts appears, choose LINK next to each account you want to reactivate (do not choose Add, as that would create duplicates).

Click Next then Done on the last prompt.

Fidelity accounts are still not connecting. I deactivated and reactivated and I’m getting a message on the Fidelity site “HTTP Status 400 - Bad Request”

last evening I was able to connect on the Mac now that is not working as well

Hi @Regina@,

If you're receiving an HTTP Status 400 – Bad Request error during the authorization process, it may be caused by an issue with your browser session or stored website data. A good first step is to clear your browser's cookies and cache or try the process in a different web browser.

If you're using Google Chrome, you can clear its cache and cookies by:

Click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the browser.
Select Delete browsing data.

Check Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files.
Set the time range to Last 24 hours.
Click Delete data.

After clearing your browsing data, return to Quicken and try the account reactivation process again.

If the issue persists, you can also try using a different default browser:

Opening Windows Settings.

Going to Apps > Default apps.

Selecting the browser you'd like to use.
Clicking Set default.

Then return to Quicken and start the account reconnection process again.

Also, please let me know whether you're seeing the same error in the Mac version or a different one.

thanks! I did some research and found the suggestion to flush the dns - that fixed it…
