Hitting space bar doesn't advance to next character, why? [Edited]

I recently upgraded to a newer MacBook Air 15-inch, M2 2023. I am using Quicken 9.0.3.

MacOS 26.5.1

When making entries in the Quicken register, the space bar does not advance to the next space; I cannot leave a space between words.  How do I correct this?

In your macOS Settings, take a look at Accessibility > Keyboard. If "Full keyboard access" is checked, that's likely your culprit; try unchecking that to see if it resolves your problem.

I am not seeing any other reports of this and not experiencing it myself. Have you restarted the computer? Often glitches like this are fixed by a computer restart. If that doesn't do it, do you have an third party utilities running that modify the operating system?
